BrainViz: real-time brain visualization
Goal
BrainViz is a fast brain visualization tool that takes full-resolution (400x300x300 voxel) 3D MINC files (a structural MRI dataset standard) and visualizes these data in real-time. This project is designed for real-time visualization in our neural interface projects. Rendering speed depends on resolution; for example, 24 frames per second of 128x128x96 voxel transparent images of 10 different tissue types with blood-oxygenation overlays can be visualized in BrainViz.
